Here is how it works:

Profit

You will receive 50% of the selling price of your items.

How we determine the price

Our goal is to get you the highest possible price for your merchandise. Therefore, we price your items at a fair market value so that they will sell within 30 days.

Our consignment period is 4 months

  • The first month your items are on the sales floor there will be no discount.
  • If your items do not sell within 30 days, they will be reduced by 10%.
  • After 60 days, the items will be reduced by 20%.
  • After 90 days, the items are reduced by 30%
  • At 120 days the items are expired

Unsold Items

At the end of the 4-month consignment period, you will be responsible for retrieving your unsold items. Items that are not picked up 10 days after the end of your contract date will be automatically donated to Treasures Ministry, the non-profit organization that owns Treasures Store and you will receive a tax donation form.

Payment

Checks are ready for pick up on the 10th day of the month following the sale. If checks are not picked up within 6 months of the date issued, they will be voided and the proceeds will be donated to Treasures Ministry.

Drop-off Times

You may drop off smaller furniture pieces and home accessories any time during normal business hours. We request 48 hours notice if you are bringing larger items.

Delivery

We have several delivery services that we can recommend for larger furniture pieces. Larger pieces must be previewed prior to arrival at Treasures. This can be accomplished by either emailing or bringing in pictures. Our 25 years experience in the consignment business has taught us that there are pieces that we simply cannot sell. We do not accept the following:

Guilt free shopping
“Guilt free shopping!”
  • Appliances or clothing.
  • Upholstery that is more than 5 years old, is torn, soiled, faded or damaged by pets.
  • China and silver
  • Artwork that has "dated" colored matting
  • Lamps without shades
  • Mattresses and bed linens
  • Draperies
